One of only 12 photography museums in the country, the Southeast Museum of Photography presents exhibitions of historical and contemporary photography throughout the year. Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.; Tuesday, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Closed Saturdays, Mondays and holidays. Sign language interpretation is available at programs by prior request.

Bethune-Cookman College & Mary McLeod Bethune Foundation640 Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd., Daytona Beach (904) 255-1401. The home of Bethune-Cookman College founder and famous civil rights leader and educator, Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, is a two-story frame structure dating back to 1914. Dr. Bethune lived here until her death in 1955 and is buried nearby on the grounds adjacent to the home. Dedicated as the Mary McLeod Bethune Foundation in 1953, the building contains numerous citations, plaques, artifacts and photographs that chronicle the history of this nationally-recognized college.
