Herbert Street, Port Orange (904) 767-1735. These ruins of an old English sugar mill are surrounded by 12 acres of botanical gardens, operated by the Botanical Gardens of Volusia. Nature lovers will enjoy collections of flowering trees, holly, magnolia and other flora. Kids love the huge 40-year-old dinosaur statues, erected when the area was known as the "Bongoland" theme park. The gardens are open daily from dawn to dusk.
